For 2026 - CDHA will be hosting several AKC events in collaboration with Buckhorn Valley Kennel Club these include:

Scentwork Trials June 12 - 14th at The Last Resort Equestrian Center north of Fort Collins. Premium List Entries open April 1st on www.secreterrier.com

Herding Trial and Tests September 25th and 26th at Rancho Terra Norte' Wellington, CO
Annual Ranch Dog Gymkhana at the Fair
Unfortunately due to the construction occurring in 2026 at the Ranch Complex, we will not be able to hold our annual Ranch Dog Gymkhana. Watch for us in 2027 when the outdoor arenas will be completed.
2026 AKC Scentwork Trials
CDHA will be joining BVKC the weekend of June 12th - 14th for AKC Scentwork Trials. All elements and levels will be offered. Judges: Andrea Wojciechowski, Sally Dunphey, and Ron Horn. Entries open on April 1st. Entries accepted by Secreterrier (www.secreterrier.com) Premium List
2026 Group Show
CDHA will be joining BVKC the weekend of June 19th for our annual AKC Herding Group Conformation shows. These events will be held at the Archer Event Complex in Cheyenne, WY clustering with BVKC's conformation shows and obedience/rally trials . Check www.onofrio.com for premium lists.
Membership dues for 2026 are now due. Individuals $20/year Family

2026 Fall Herding Cluster - Sept 24 - 28th
CDHA will be hosting its Annual AKC Herding Trial/Tests on September 25 - 27 in conjunction with the BVKC Herding trials/tests on September 25, 26 & 27, 2026). These events will be held at Rancho Terra Norte' in Wellington, CO. Offering A, B, C, and D courses and tests including Farm Dog Certification.
